Royal Oak Retailers Association is proud to present the 1st Annual Snap Judgment Photography Event February 24-27th.

Throughout Downtown Royal Oak, retail stores, restaurants and businesses will be displaying photography by Detroit based and national photographers. Lift will be showcasing the work of local photographers Jon Pickell & Donita Simpson. An eclectic evening awaits as each business will showcase a different photographer with their own perspective and unique style, portraying the world as they see it.

A special VIP Preview night is scheduled for Thursday, February 24th. Tickets can be purchased for $15 at Lift and other participating businesses. Proceeds benefit the Royal Oak Animal Shelter. Meth & Hot Dogs 2 is a celebration of character art in all its forms. The exhibit will bring together a group of artists who have an appreciation for the demented, cute and strange. M&HD2 opens April 30th at Lift.

We will be ringing in the new year with a blaze. The Detroit branch is proud to present Olive Oyl and Jade of The Detroit Fire Guild
The Detroit Fire Guild is a well know vaudevillian circus troupe, These highly skilled entertainers woo their crowds through fire performances. The guild has put on large scale productions such as the Motor City Vaudeville Revue. 
Jade is an exceptionally phenomenal contact juggler and Olive Oil is a proficient harmonic hula hooper. 
This will not be a session to miss!

Art-o-mat has arrived at Lift! This wondrous retired cigarette machine vends handmade art and crafty goods by artists from across the world. Each piece is sold blind packaged for only $5.00 each. There are over 90 active machines around the country and 400 contributing artists involved and we’re thrilled to be the latest stop for the project.

We hope you’ll join us for the last opening for Bigshot Toyworks traveling custom wood toy show Natural Resources. Along with national heavy hitters Julie West, 64 Colors, Chris Ryniak, MAD, Travis Lampe, Mr. Shane Jessup, Scott Tolleson, and Shawnimals (just to name a few) participating local artists include Audrey Pongracz, Carl Oxley III, Marc Nischan, D-Lux, Kill Taupe and Heather Hansma.
