Huck Gee is heading out on an 11 city signing tour for his new book, The Art of Huck Gee, and Lift is excited to announce that we’re stop number two for the toy-customizer-extraordinaire.

Huck will be signing copies of his 150 page, full color book, on January 6th from 6-8pm. As if the night wasn’t already awesome enough, you can snag a white cover edition of the book available only at the signing tour.

Fair warning has been given… the dawn of Gold Life is near. Huck Gee puts his unique spin on the traditional ways of the Samurai for his highly anticipated (and hyper-limited!) Dunny Gold Life series. This artist-dedicated collection brings each of the players in the storied Samurai tale to life – the wretches, the warriors, the Geishas who loved them… the deadly Ninjas who prowled the night – 13 characters in all, 3-inches and blind boxed, including Tarzo the Unknown Rifleman and a mystery chase. Each figure comes equipped with an appropriate, but often lethal accessory. Set to release September 1st for $10/blind box.

Also releasing September 1st is the limited edition Gold Life 2-Pack. Gee puts his unique Asian Pop spin on the traditional ways of the Samurai with unparalleled attention to style, color and detail. The two 3-inch Dunnys bring two key players in the Gold Life tale to life – “Kabuki” The Masked Ronin and “Kitsune” The Seven Tailed Geisha. The ronin comes equipped with a razor-sharp Samurai sword, mask to terrify his opponent, and traditional sandals, while his trickster companion comes with a detailed mask, a flower garland, sandals and a mirror holding her masked gaze. $30.00/2-pack

While the release for these bad boys has yet to be announced the line-up of 2011 Kidrobot Dunnys leaked onto the net this week and quickly popped up on vinyl toy sites Spankystokes and Clutter.

It’s great to finally see some production pieces by toy customizers extraordinaire 64 Colors, Squink, DrilOne & Betso mixed in with new designs from Chuckboy, Aya Kakeda, Travis Lampe and Huck Gee.
