With a cigarette, carrot nose, two eyes made out of coal, (and maybe a LOT of yellow snow), Crusty Dunny is sure to get you smorkin’ for 2011’s holiday season. This 3-inch vinyl heathen is getting into the spirit with a top hat, carrot nose, booze bottle, and cigarette. And, given the changes in the world, it is no wonder that this Dunny has a Chase that is disappearing fast… a hapless victim of global warming. 1 in 6 has suffered at the hands of the CCC (Climate Change Conspiracy), with a vinyl puddle for a body and x’s for eyes. Crusty comes out to play SOON! in-store and online. Seasons Smorkin’s!
Lift will be hosting a trading party to celebrate this highly anticipated Dunny series. Pop in from 6-8PM on Thursday, September 1st for snacks, a raffle drawing and of course the purchasing of the uber-rad Gold Life Dunnys.

Fair warning has been given… the dawn of Gold Life is near. Huck Gee puts his unique spin on the traditional ways of the Samurai for his highly anticipated (and hyper-limited!) Dunny Gold Life series. This artist-dedicated collection brings each of the players in the storied Samurai tale to life – the wretches, the warriors, the Geishas who loved them… the deadly Ninjas who prowled the night – 13 characters in all, 3-inches and blind boxed, including Tarzo the Unknown Rifleman and a mystery chase. Each figure comes equipped with an appropriate, but often lethal accessory. Set to release September 1st for $10/blind box.

Also releasing September 1st is the limited edition Gold Life 2-Pack. Gee puts his unique Asian Pop spin on the traditional ways of the Samurai with unparalleled attention to style, color and detail. The two 3-inch Dunnys bring two key players in the Gold Life tale to life – “Kabuki” The Masked Ronin and “Kitsune” The Seven Tailed Geisha. The ronin comes equipped with a razor-sharp Samurai sword, mask to terrify his opponent, and traditional sandals, while his trickster companion comes with a detailed mask, a flower garland, sandals and a mirror holding her masked gaze. $30.00/2-pack
UPDATE: WE ARE SOLD OUT OF GOLD LIFE DUNNYS
This is NOT a Dunny. Or is it? UK art studio Triclops paints Dunny with their version of the surrealist brush! Inspired by witty and thought-provoking Belgian artist René Magritte, Triclops plays with reality and illusion by interpreting Magritte’s own self portrait. Its transparent blue vinyl head bears a wandering set of clouds on the back and painted green apple obscuring the face. On the back of the Londoner’s dark suit it is written that, “Ceci n’est pas une Dunny” – challenging observers’ perceptions of reality… much like Magritte’s Treachery of Images painting where he states in French, “This is not a pipe.” Still, what you see here is just what you get – a uniquely surrealist piece of modern art to add to your growing collection. This illusory piece comes accessorized with black bowler, umbrella, and a pipe to complete his distinguished air. The Rene London 8-inch Dunny arrives August 18 for $75 and is limited to 1,000 pieces worldwide.
