What time is the signing?
Huck will be signing from 6pm – 8pm EST on FRIDAY, January 6, 2012
Will he sign other items besides the books?
Yes, as long as there’s enough time to ensure everyone gets something signed Huck is willing to sign other items (toys, etc). Please be courteous and reasonable in your requests.
When should I arrive?
Huck draws a crowd wherever he goes and with the weather approaching 50 degrees tomorrow expect a line to start forming in the afternoon. Please purchase and/or pick up your book inside when you arrive.
What’s the cost for a signature?
There is no charge for the signature. The white cover book is available for $35.
Do I have to buy a book?
No but please keep in mind that the purpose of Huck coming out is for the book release. Sales of the book help cover the travel expenses and Huck is not getting paid for the appearance. We understand that not everyone can afford the book so there’s certainly no pressure to buy one but if you’re a fan of Huck’s work, it’s a great retrospective and must have for your collection.
How many books are available?
We are pre-selling books and have held back some to have on hand during the signed. Our supply is limited so we may sell out early. Feel free to come in anytime starting at noon to purchase a book. The white edition is only available from shops on the tour and limited to a publish size of 800. The red edition is the standard release version and we also have a few of those available.
Anything else special going on?
We’ll have some Gold Life Dunnys available (limit 1 per customer) while supplies last and some Dunny series 5 blind boxes (limit 3 per customer).
We’ll also have light refreshments in the back.
What are my parking options?
All downtown parking is pay per hour in Royal Oak. Your cheapest option is to park in one of the structures (Center Street or Lafayette St). Parking there is free for the first 2 hours and only 50 cents each additional as long as you enter the garage before 5pm. After 5pm it’s a flat rate of $5.00. Many of the parking meters now accept credit cards. The structures are cash only.
